Anaconda Adventure Race

The Anaconda Adventure Race at Forster; takes competitors through the natural wonders of the Great Lakes and coastline around Forster; offering two unique and equally spectacular adventure race courses on Saturday and Sunday.

Legs (Day One): Team Run (three kilometres), Ocean Swim (one point nine kilometres/500 metre run/500 metre swim), Ocean Paddle (13.8 kilometres), Mountain Bike (19 kilometres), Coastal/Trail Run (11 kilometres).
Legs (Day Two): Ocean Swim (one point nine kilometres), Coastal/Trail Run (16 kilometres), Mountain Bike (30 kilometres), Lake Paddle (13 kilometres), Bridge/Beach Run ( three kilometres)

Teams and individuals can choose to do both days and gain glory in the Full Anaconda, or may complete just the Sunday course with the Anaconda Half. Choose your adventure and reap the rewards.

Camden Haven Music Festival

An inspiring annual Music Festival in the Camden Haven strives to deliver a festival of national significance that provides a unique celebration of fine and diverse musical experiences.

Virtuoso musicians come together from all over Australia to celebrate the love of music. Concerts are held in acoustically superior and intimate venues, accompanied by country-style hospitality.

Blues, classical, jazz and swing, African drumming and contemporary are just a few of the music experiences awaiting visitors to this scenic and relaxing area just 4 hours from Sydney by road.

On Saturday 1 May the inaugural Laurieton Lantern Parade on the Camden Haven River will be held as part of the Music Festival when lanterns made in community workshops will form a sail past from 7pm. Lanterns will be auctioned the following day at the Festival Finale at Bago Vineyards Wauchope.

Coffs Harbour International Buskers and Comedy Festival

The International Buskers and Comedy Festival involves more than 120 shows in 15 different venues over nine days. Shows include family entertainment in the streets of Coffs Harbour and in the surrounding villages including Sawtell and Woolgoolga, evening shows in the North Coast Botanic Gardens and adult shows in local pubs and clubs. Entertainment includes artists from across the globe, including a strong Australian and local contingent, in Australia’s largest gathering of professional buskers.
